Well here it is! I'm sure you need another post of someone to read! (Not!) .... but maybe this isn't for you! This is for the pastor's wife or ministry leader's wife who is always there....making it all work....trying to make sure that all worlds are steady! It was your dream to one day "be in the ministry". To marry that wonderful christian fella who knew that he wanted to "be in the ministry" some day. The day comes. You're eyes met for the first time....and within a span of a few years....you wake up from the "dream come true" and find yourself head over heals in ministry...and 2 (or more) kids! OK...so now what? It's not as easy as you thought. Seriously? Can I have a "re-take" please??? I didn't study enough last night!! haha!!
Yep...that happened to me. 23 years later....I've watched both, from the side-line, and started the game a time or two. It's been a journey....it still is a journey! But, you want to know something?? Overall....the Lord has done His work in my life. I've messed things up a good, many times before and HE has never left me! He's always been there, in total control of my every turn. I've found out now....that it's ALL grace!!! I've done nothing. He's done it all!
Proverbs 19:21 "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails."
John 1:16 "From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another."
This is the beginning of something new for me. I hope you will find this to be a place of refuge, knowing that you are not alone in your "world" of ministry.

I thought it was so neat to see your blogspot on your facebook. I have blogged somewhat, time just does not allow as much as I would like but maybe we will find some time to blog again and read each other's posts.
